Recording
DAT recorders
DAT recorders are two-channel (stereo) digital audio recorders. Bill Ritch currently has three DAT recorders -- only two of which really work. As tape is a dying medium, we will be phasing out our use of audio tape.
DATs make good acquisition recorders, but the tape should not be considered for archive. These recordings should be transferred to more reliable media.
