Things ARTC needs or wants to make bringing audio drama easier, more fun, and better quality.
This is a no-holds-barred list, so use your imagination. You never know what you can achieve until you decide you want to achieve it and you never know what you can get until you ask.
Technology
- Laptop computer capable of running the following software efficiently (Windows platform):
- Sony Soundforge
- Sony Vegas
- Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Word Perfect
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Macromedia DreamWeaver
- other standard Internet, graphics, and Point-of-sale tools
- Laptop or Desktop computer (Macintosh platform)
- Software (either or both of Windows and Macintosh versions)
- Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, and Access)
- Adobe Creative Suite 3
- ProTools
- Sound effects libraries
- House Monitors (i.e. speakers) that we can fly (hang from the ceiling) at Stage Door Players
- Condenser (vocal) Mics (among other things, better for female & younger actor's voices.)
- Stereo Condenser Mic, or a matched pair of condenser mics (This would have been a good way to record the Brides in stereo for "Dracula," for example.)
- Mixing Board
Office supplies
- Copier
- Paper
- Color laser printer (and toner for same)
Miscellaneous items
- Van or other cargo-capable vehicle able to transport audio equipment. Fold-down seats to allow passengers a plus.
- LCD projector with screen
- Rehearsal/studio/performance space
